Sashimi

Sashimi serves raw files directly from Git services (GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Gogs, Forgejo and self-hosted instances) with proper Content-Type headers.

Use this URL in production or development

  • No traffic limits or throttling. Files are served via Bunny.net's low-latency fast global CDN.

  • Use a specific tag or commit hash in the URL (not a branch). Files are cached permanently based on the URL. Query strings will force a separate cache entry.

  • Sashimi supports GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Gogs, Forgejo and many self-hosted instances (for example: git.savesphere.cloud). Use the domain override in the generated URL when targeting self-hosted instances.

  • We proxy and serve most media formats. Unsupported media types or blacklisted extensions will redirect back to the origin host.

  • This is a free service with no uptime or support guarantees.
